How to Customize Your Marketplace
This article explains how use marketplace customization features to insert graphic elements that match your existing brand, add contact info, share your social media, and insert important disclaimers like terms of use or privacy policies.

How to Customize Your Marketplace
Marketplace customization allows you to change the look and feel of your Marketplace's investor website to match your existing brand by adding logos, icons, and images that investors see when logging in. You can also use customization to add important information such as a terms of use, privacy policy or disclaimer, to the investor website.
To begin customizing your marketplace, follow these instructions:
- Login to your account, then navigate to your Marketplace Dashboard.
- In the bottom-left corner, click Settings
, then click Customization
from the Settings menu. - On the Marketplace Customization menu, you will see the features that you can customize in 5 different tabs - Logotype and Favicon, Sign up/Login Images, Footer, Support, and Emails.
Customizing the Logo and Favicon
The Logotype tab allows you to customize the Logo and Favicon that are shown throughout your Marketplace.
The Favicon is the icon used within a web browser tab. The file type must be .ico and the recommended dimensions are 32x32 pixels.
The Logo is shown in the top-left corner of all Marketplace screens. The supported file types are .jpg or .png, and the recommended dimensions are 160x40 pixels.
To customize either, click Upload File
and upload the image file that you wish to use.
Customizing the Sign Up & Login Images
The Signup / Log in Images tab allows you to customize the images that investors see during registration and login. You can upload up to three images. If you upload more than one image, they will be displayed in a carousel, one after the other, on the sign up & login pages.
The supported file types are .jpg, .png and .svg, and the maximum file size is 100MB.
To customize these images, click Upload File
and upload the image file that you wish to use.
Customizing the Footer
You can customize the Footer of all webpages within your Marketplace by adding links to your social media platforms, your website, or adding a link to your Marketplace's terms of use or privacy policy.
- To add a link to your social media, find the social media platform you wish to link, then click Add Link
and paste the URL, then click the checkmark
to confirm. You can click the trash icon
to remove the link at any time. - To add a link to your website, paste the website's URL into the Company Website Link field, then click Add
. You can click the trash icon
to remove the link at any time. - To add a link to your terms of use or privacy policy, click Add Link
and paste the URL, then click the checkmark
to confirm. You can click the trash icon
to remove the link at any time.
Customizing the Support Email
You can customize the email address that investors will see as a contact method to reach your team. By adding your support email address, any inquiries from your investors will be routed to your team directly.
To add a support email, enter the email address into the Support Email field, then click Save Changes
. You can edit or remove a support email at any time by clicking the Edit or Remove buttons.
Customizing the Login Email Template
You can customize the email that investors receive when logging in to your marketplace by adding a custom subject line or a disclaimer, if applicable. These fields will be displayed every time an investor receives an email with a link to login to their account.
To add a custom subject line or disclaimer, write the text you wish to use, then click Save Changes
.
