What is a Cap Table
The Cap Table Tool, also referred to as Owners Managements, is the tool used by issuers to view a list of all investors in their Asset. The Cap Table provides comprehensive information about all shareholders in their Asset, including the quantity of tokens each investor owns and their current percentage share, the capital originally raised from each investor and the market value of their tokens.
Viewing and Managing an Asset's Cap Table
- Login to your issuer account and enter your Marketplace.
- From the Marketplace dashboard, click Companies
and enter your Company dashboard. - From the Company dashboard, click Owners Managements
to view your cap table. If you have more than one Asset within a company, you will need to use the drop-down menu to select the Asset which you wish to view. - The Cap Table highlights section shows you the following information:
- Minted Tokens: The number of tokens minted into the asset. You will also see the date that tokens were most recently minted.
- Treasury Balance: The number of tokens currently in the control of the issuer's wallet. Tokens are considered locked if they are in the Treasury balance but assigned to an Offering or other pending transaction.
- Outstanding Tokens: The number of tokens currently owned by investors. This includes both Self-Custodied Owners who hold tokens in their own wallets and Issuer-Custodied Owners whose tokens are currently held in the Issuer's wallet.
- The Cap Table spreadsheet section shows you the following information:
- Owner/shareholder name
- Custody: either Issuer or Self, depending on whether the tokens are held by the Issuer or in a self-custody wallet
- Ownership: The percentage of outstanding tokens owned by that investor.
- Average price: This is the average (mean) value of prices at which the investor purchased their tokens.
- Amount: The quantity of tokens owned by the investor
- Value: The current market value of the investor's tokens.
- Amount raised: The principal amount paid by the investor to acquire their tokens.
