Using the Transfer History Tab

This article explains how to locate and analyse the Transfer History Tab. It explains how an Issuer can locate information about any investor's transaction history, including token purchases made in Offerings and in Secondary Trading.

Introduction

The Transfer History tab provides a chronological summary of all transactions made by a specific investor in the Cap Table of an Asset. Currently, the Transfer History tab is only available for Self-Custodied Owners, because their activity generates transactions on the Polymesh blockchain.

For Issuer-Custodied Owners, the Transfer History Tab is not available, because the Issuer has initiated all of the transactions and no tokens ever left the Issuer's Treasury wallet. 

Viewing the Transfer History Tab

  1. Login to your issuer account and enter your Marketplace.
  2. From the Marketplace dashboard, click Companies and enter your Company dashboard. 
  3. From the Company dashboard, click Owners Managements to view your cap table. If you have more than one Asset within a company, you will need to use the drop-down menu to select the Asset which you wish to view. 
  4. Select any investor with the Custody type "SELF", and click the three-dot icon on the right side of the Cap Table, then click Transfer History.
  5. You will be provided with a chronological record of all transactions made by that investor with regards to the specific Asset that you are viewing, including:
    1. Completed orders to purchase tokens in Offerings.
    2. Manual transfers of tokens by the Issuer.
    3. Completed orders to buy/sell tokens in secondary trading, if enabled.

Each record will also display the transaction date, quantity of tokens, per-unit price and total nominal value of the transaction, in the currency of the marketplace.

Additionally, each transaction that results in a transfer of tokens between two wallets will contain a link to the Polymesh blockchain explorer record confirming that transaction.
